THE TOURNAMENT
33 years ago the first World Tournament took place in Zell am See – since then it has been developed into Europe’s largest ice hockey tournament for Youngsters.
We are proud to present the program for the Easter session 2024 and look forward to welcome you and your team

World Tournament XXXIV
Tournament mode
A preliminary round with 4 groups of 4 teams will be played for each age group, after the basic round the 1-2-3-4 placed teams will play in 4 further groups for the tournament victory. Each team will have 6 games.
All participating players and officials receive a commemorative medal and a poster of the tournament.
The Best of…. Trophy will be Best Forward, Best Defender, Best Goalie, and the honoured players will receive sponsor’s gifts and a trophy.
The “Best of” rating is made by a jury, it is pointed out that the award does not depend on the number of goals scored, scored points or any other statistical base.
As another category, the “Wolfgang Rud Fair Play Trophy” will be awarded to the team with the lowest penalty minutes during the tournament. The top three teams (1-3) each receive a Trophy.
